Leah Schmidt is an associate with The Law Office of Thaniel J. Beinert and Associates. Ms. Schmidt practices in the areas of Real Estate, Collections, Building Management, Landlord/Tenant Actions and Civil Litigation.
      Ms. Schmidt received a B.A. degree from Salisbury University in 2002 and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2008, where she graduated in the top 1/3 of her class and twice earned Dean’s List honors. While in law school, Ms. Schmidt was a member of the Immigration Law Student Association and an active volunteer with the Domestic Violence Project.
      Prior to attending law school, Ms. Schmidt was a full time corps member with Americorps NCCC. During the 10 month program, Ms. Schmidt traveled the country and built homes with Habitat for Humanity, restored historic farmland and farm houses, rehabilitated injured wildlife, acted as a camp counselor for children with disabilities, and tutored at-risk youth.
      Ms. Schmidt is admitted to practice Law in New York, New Jersey, and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
